Kumihimo is a Japanese form of interlaced braid-making normally done on a wooden stand known as a Marudai. This foam disk is light weight and portable, and comes in quite handy when a Marudai is inconvenient. This disk comes with 8 bobbins and basic instructions.
Great for beginners and seasoned users alike. Almost any type of fiber can be used for Kumihimo, our 5/2 cotton yarn is a good choice. You can also use satin cord, silk, wool, and numerous other types and sizes of yarn.
Each of the 6 sets contain 8 bobbins that are 1.5" x 1.75" and the disk is 4.25" diameter, 0.375" thick, and the center hole is 0.875" diameter. Made in the U.S.A.
